Trauma Care Charity UK

Trauma Care Charity was founded in 1996, with one major goal in mind: to create a non-profit organisation that leads the forefront in bringing a commonly agreed standard of practice for trauma patients to the medical world. We aim to improve the outcome of the trauma victim by establishing best practice throughout the whole chain of care. We achieve this through education, research and publishing. No other organisation encompasses the diverse specialities involved in the care of trauma victims, from the moment of injury, to the return to active life. We believe that everyone who may interact with a trauma patient in their career deserves access to affordable, quality, educational events. Whether this is a bi-weekly webinar, regional conference, training course, publication or multi-day conference. We have produced over 50 live-events and 400 webinars since our inception, with each one either completely free to attend or sold at the lowest possible price. When we call ourselves a non-profit, we really mean it. We are committed to providing a postive, engaging and thought-provoking experience to all participants. We adopt a multi-disciplinary approach to our conferences and talks, ensuring inclusivity, with the chance for all attendees to network and capture new opportunities for themselves, regardless of backgrounds. We also believe that creating affordable educational events helps foster an atmosphere of collaboration and a bringing together of different branches of trauma care, from across the country.
